Lisa Vertefeuille

Professional Pastry Chef Lisa Vertefeuille founded the Flour Pot in 2011 in beautiful Pemberton, BC. Grown from a love of food, the kitchen and inspired by mother nature, The Flour Pot has established itself as one of the primary vendors for Whistler Wedding Cakes and seasonal desserts for corporate events and intimate celebrations.

Her ability to think outside the (cake) box finds her ahead of industry trends, with her work featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Rocky Mountain Bride and Wedluxe Magazine.

Best cake I’ve ever had by far! The cupcakes were also amazing. The cake was such a big hit that after I had a couple of bites of the cake and then it was time for our first dance, by the time I looked at the cake again it was almost all gone! 01. Reach out
Wedding Cakes

Email us with details about your event and what you want in a wedding cake to allow us to prepare a custom quote for you and set up a design consultation if needed.

02. Taste and design
Wedding Cake Tasting

Once we receive your order request we will email you to discuss design details or set up a tasting and design consultation if you so desire. Consultations are approximately 30 minutes with 4 flavours for you to try, or a take away box to be enjoyed at home or in your hotel. The tasting fee is $50.

03. Book it!
Wedding Cake Design

For custom wedding cake orders, the earlier you book the better! We are a small boutique studio and complete a limited number of cakes per week, meaning during peak seasons we can book out far in advance. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking and is non refundable. The remaining is due one week prior to your event.

Each cake is individually priced taking in to account the size, complexity in the final design and any special requirements. As a guideline you can expect to budget anywhere between $5 – $12/serving. There is a minimum order of $200 for custom cakes.

Absolutely! You can arrange pick up in Pemberton however for tiered cakes we recommend delivery as it can be a tricky undertaking! Pricing for delivery is based on the venue location.

We will however do our best to accommodate your order, however most wedding clients are ready to begin the cake design process roughly six months prior to the event.
